When the German ship “Polarstern” embarked on a trip to the Antarctis for a survey on global warming, the team needed a camera suited for capturing cloud constellations. Hence, we mounted an AXIS camera within a custom-made housing on the basis of stainless steel to shield it against cold temperatures and humidity.
Another client wanted to install an AXIS camera within an electronic machine, a task which entailed several difficulties. Since the camera’s original housing was too big, we decided to create a completely new exterior. After drawing a 3D sketch, we fabricated a prototype which was subsequently duplicated for industrial use. Our client remained involved in every step of the way. Whether it be initial strategizing or final test runs, we put great emphasis on transparent communication at all stages. Our number-one goal is to equip industrial and scientific experts with installations that guarantee maximal practicality and minimal risk at the same time.
